The Doctor Is In

We got Kylee a doctor's set for Halloween and she LOVES it. She has been giving checkups to anyone and everyone she can. Since then, I have been looking for a dress up set with a doctor's coat. I couldn't find one that had just the coat so I went ahead and got one that included all of the tools (I figured a doctor can't have too many of the same tools right?) and we gave it to her for Valentine's Day. The best new thing in this set though is a clipboard with a patient chart notepad and a prescription pad. Needless to say, Dr. Kylee has been conducting check ups and filling out patient carts ever since she opened her present.

Here she is ready for another day at the office. : )

First patient ... her elephant!

All important paperwork is filled out and Dr. Kylee is ready for her next patient. : )

Ryland is 10 months!

Ryland is 10 months old and a complete ball of energy! I can't even remember the last time he crawled to get somewhere. He has become quite the walker and is now working on his climbing skills! So far he has successfully made it into the cabinet, dishwasher, and trampoline!?! I still can't believe that he can climb into the trampoline without any help but at the same time I'm not totally surprised either. : )

He is also climbing the charts at the doctor's pretty quickly. At his last appointment he weighed 20 pounds and was 28 1/4 inches long. Both of these put him in the 50th - 75th percentile. He is, of course, above the 95th percentile with his head circumference!! (48 cm.) He is also up to 4 teeth now -- two on the top and two on the bottom.

Here are a few recent pictures of our little guy. : )

He LOVES the bath and splashes around almost the entire time he is in there. (Kylee enjoys it too since he always gets her wet with his splashes. Luckily, she understands not to splash back.) : )

Of course he always wants to do whatever his big sister is doing. She is SO good with him too ... seems like she gets better and more understanding every day.

But there are times when she knows he isn't supposed to have some of the things she plays with. You can see her saying "Ry-win, No!" : ) (She has gotten much better though at just saying, "Mommy move him" instead of trying to do it herself.)

As you can see ... they are having a lot of fun together. : )
